Hot-Rolled Treatments, Finishes & Designations

Our machine straightening processes smooth out surface finishes and reshape linear materials by applying pressure between two rollers.

This method is used to detect surface and internal flaws without causing damage to the product, utilizing common techniques that include ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, radiographic testing and dye penetrant inspection.

Using controlled heating and cooling processes, these bars provide improved properties in strength, toughness and wear resistance for demanding applications.

Turned and polished (T&P or TP) bars are manufactured by processing hot-rolled steel through a turning head that removes the outer layer and then polishes it for a smooth finish, eliminating imperfections

CHQ is a steel suitable for cold forming into complex shapes without cracking. Key features of CHQ include high formability, ductility and strength with a smooth surface quality.
