Alternate Weld Placement
The weld seam is positioned on a different face (typically the shorter side) to meet structural or fabrication needs, including improved appearance or load distribution.
Band Saw Cutting
The bundle is cut to precise lengths using a band saw, providing clean end preparation for tight tolerances to reduce fabrication time on-site.
Destructive Testing
Sample sections are physically tested to failure to assess material properties such as strength and weld performance, validating compliance with specifications.
Flash Removal
The internal weld bead is mechanically removed to create a smooth inner surface, improving fit for connections and flow-through applications.
Flux Leakage Testing
A non-destructive test that uses magnetic fields to detect surface or near-surface defects to detect leakage and ensure product integrity and quality.
Re-Metalizing
A zinc coating is applied to protect the steel from corrosion, extending service life in outdoor or harsh environments.
Special Tolerances
HSS is produced with tighter dimensional tolerances than standard, which helps ensure exact fit and performance in precision applications.
Stenciling
Product information is printed directly onto the steel product, improving traceability and inventory management during handling and construction.
Surface Critical
The HSS is manufactured with enhanced surface quality for aesthetic or coating-critical applications, such as exposed architecture or finishing processes.
